Physical Capabilities: Proficiency in standing and walking for extended periods, reaching at or above shoulder level, lifting up to 45 lbs. unassisted, and handling ultrasound equipment.

Fine Motor Skills: Possession of sufficient strength, finger dexterity, and flexion for executing fine motor skills.

Clinical Affiliations

In order to provide our students with a rich and comprehensive learning experience, AIHST is taking necessary measures for clinical affiliations with a variety of healthcare facilities throughout Virginia and beyond.

Clinical site placement will be done at the discretion of the Internship Department and availability of the clinical sites at the time the student is ready to begin the clinical internship. Students must  complete all required clinical paperwork on time in order to be placed at a clinical site. AIHST does not guarantee placement at a particular clinical site.
